I watch the TV series called “Kim’s Convenience” on Netflix and just had to go to Toronto. So we did, and visited the actual store. What an amazing, culturally-diverse clean city with wonderful ethnic food! I blended in for a change, and Sean was the odd man out. He loved it!
On the first day, we helped a lost Italian non-English speaking woman get home. Really. We got help from the police to take her home and we enjoyed our first Toronto lunch at a great Portuguese restaurant. What a great way to start the week! We ended the week with a try at axe-throwing. What a thrill and energy rush and exhausting! Crossed that off of my bucket list. Our beautiful Airbnb below. Little did we know that we stayed in a neighborhood with home values above 1 million dollars! We were in the private basement with a private entrance to the left. It was lovely!
