Leaves do Change Colors

Posted on October 29, 2019 by Laureen2014

We haven’t seen leaves change colors in quite some time.  I forgot how much I missed the vibrant yellows and reds.  I was determined to see them way up high, so I trekked up the mountain with my man.  It was tough, but I made it to the top.   I could hear the angels!  Let’s just say, going down was much easier.

Push hard and the reward is well worth it.

Throwing Axes is Fun!

Posted on October 5, 2019 by Laureen2014

My new activity is axe throwing.  First in Toronto, second in Hendersonville, NC.  Where to next?  It’s sweaty, exhausting and empowering at the same time.  Did I mention fun?

This video is dedicated to my friends who have and had breast cancer.  You are brave survivors.  Let’s go throw an axe together sometime.

As you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  1 in 8 American women will get breast cancer.   Wear your pink in honor of these women and join me in throwing an axe at cancer.
