It’s like opening up a Christmas present. This beautiful orchid was left behind by the prior owners of our house. I adopted it and kept it safe from the elements. You know the snow blizzards that we get all the time. To my surprise, this magnificent flower greeted me one morning. WOW! There are several buds, which means more presents are coming. I can’t wait! Orchids are so delicate, exotic and simply beautiful. You can almost feel the softness of the petals on your cheek just by admiring them.

What a joy you are, Laureen! So many wonderful and neat stories to share. Loved the birthday celebration with your good egg, Nathaniel. When I find out how, I will post a picture taken in Mom’s yard many years ago, of Nathaniel hunting Easter eggs in her yard, with the aid of his Uncle Chris. I might frame it and bring it with me in June. So much love to you and your dear and precious family. I was going to go to Brevard next week so that I could see y’all but I am still sick with bad cough and runny nose and just ill-tempered. We will have to wait til June unless y’all will still be there on Thursday & Friday, the 28 and 29. MY NEW E-MAIL IS chris_austin100@yahoo.com – much love.
